Dear Maria Kleanthous PAET In the coming weeks you might be caught up in World Cup fever, or football just might not be your thing. Whichever way you stand on this, you can be sure there are lots of fun and professionally enriching activities lined up for you here at IATEFL. As you know, our next Annual Conference and Exhibition will run from Tuesday 2 - Friday 5 April 2019 in Liverpool and our Head Office staff and volunteers have already been working hard planning ahead. Please read on and visit our website to see more about how to submit a conference proposal or apply for one of our conference scholarships. Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) have prepared a range of professional development events and resources for you in the next few months. There is so much to explore and reflect on: BESIG developing their social media presence with a new Instagram account; TEASIG releasing their new open access publication; or SIGs seeking further collaboration across the IATEFL community. These are just some examples of what is in store for you. Read on to see full details of webinars, podcasts, blogs, mini courses, SIG conferences and conference publications. There are also a number of opportunities for you to support the work of our SIGs by either joining a committee or sharing your skills and expertise, for example by becoming a roving reporter, a blogger or writing for a SIG newsletter. You can find all of this and so much more in the different SIG sections of this eBulletin. Enjoy the June eBulletin and keep up the important work you’re all doing for this great community.
